Observe good packing procedures
Do not allow picked roses to remain in the heat.
Pack the roses as soon as possible after picking.
The higher the ambient temperature the quicker the stems and fruit dry out.
The pack house temperature should ideally be below 20°C.
Use flower sleeves in the carton to minimize moisture loss.
Use SFK wrap to minimize bruising during handling and transport
Please ensure that rose buds are dry free from water droplets when packed
Attach the Florasys sheet to the ends of the carton bottom unit above the ventilation holes, fuzzy printed side facing the flowers, as per instructions on the sheet.
Use the correct size sheet for the size of the carton. If in doubt, contact us.
Florasys is designed to be placed directly into the flower carton. However, no direct contact should occur between the rose buds and Florasys as this may cause contact burn.
Close the carton lid over the Florasys sheet and seal the carton. This ensures that the Sulphur Dioxide remains in the carton.
Place in pre cooler as soon as possibility to minimize decay and loss of moisture.
Best storage conditions are at 4°C and 95% Relative Humidity.
